Enough Complaints!
I don't want this Blog to become a whole lotta complaining about everything. So, I'm going to suggest a new show and some other things that I absolutely love in hopes that you too will grow to love them. :)
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
I know this sounds weird. Five gay men take one straight, clueless dude and remake his entire life. They call themselves the "Fab Five" and travel around in a limo. I know what you're thinking: "How the HECK does this make good TV?" When I heard about this the first time, I wasn't interested at all. But then I heard the reviews, talked to some friends, and had to watch it! It's on Bravo, and it has to be the funniest new show that I've seen in a long time. In the last episode, they made over this guy and his apartment so that he could propose to his girlfriend. They truly brought out the inner diva in this man! At the beginning of the show, he was more comfortable in cowboy boots than Calvin Klein. By the end, they had this guy folding his sleeves into French cuffs while the Fab Five themselves watched the whole night with him and his girlfriend on TV from their Fab Flat shouting "Go, bro! More hand cream!" like he was trying to score the winning goal. Well,...maybe he was a little.... :):)
The West Wing
OK...I know this isn't a new show. BUT, starting August 11th, Bravo is putting it into syndication. Yep! That's right! So, if you missed it the first time around (I, myself, missed almost the whole first season), you can see it again! Where else can you live out the dream of a genius Democratic president who actually knows what he's talking about??
And that's all I have time for tonight. I will come back with more. Don't you worry. :)
